How to message someone on WhatsApp without saving their numbers ?

WhatsApp’s message yourself feature is the easiest way to send a text to an unsaved mobile number. Here’s how to use it.

Step 1: Firstly, copy the mobile number you wish to send a WhatsApp message

Step 2: Open WhatsApp on your Android mobile phone or iPhone

Step 3: Now select the ‘New chat‘ button from the bottom

Step 4: Tap on your name with the ‘(You)’ suffix

Step 5: Paste the number in the text box and hit Send

Step 6: Now go ahead and tap the number

Step 7: If the other person is on WhatsApp, the Chat with… option will appear. Simply select it and the chat screen will open

Step 8: Finally, you can send a message to the mobile number without saving it to contacts
By tapping on the participant’s name in a group chat

If you’re willing to send a WhatsApp message to a person in a group chat but don’t want to save their contact, here’s how that can be done.

Step 1: Open WhatsApp and select the relevant group

Step 2: Now, if the person has sent a message in the group chat, tap on their username or mobile number

Step 3: A set of options will appear with the first being the Message icon which is the option you need to select

Step 4: The other person’s chat screen will open and you’ll be able to send the intended message

Similarly, you can also go into the group’s info page and search for the member you wish to send a message. Simply tap on their name and the Chat with option will appear.
